Meet Carolyn. (she/her)
Carolyn Charest, MC, MBA, R.Psych has been a Registered Psychologist since 2012. She is currently registered in both British Columbia (#2630) and Alberta (#3782). She also became a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in British Columbia in 2010. She has a Master of Counselling from the Campus Alberta Applied Psychology (CAAP) Counselling Initiative through the University of Calgary, Athabasca and Lethbridge, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary. She has worked within a number of public and corporate settings with individuals, couples and families experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief/loss, addictions, eating disorders and anger management.
Moreover, Carolyn has also obtained training such as Gottman Method Couple Therapy Level 1, Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Individual and Group, Dialectical Behavioural Treatment: Skills Training I & II, Psychological First Aid, and Competent Communicator (CL) and Competent Leader (CL) from Toastmasters International. Most recently, she has obtained her Certified Professional Coach (CPC) certification from the College of Executive Coaching in California and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation with the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Carolyn is committed to living an active and healthy lifestyle. She enjoys cycling and hiking with her family and golden retriever on the North Shore.
